Talks and Appearances

I always enjoy meeting people who love reading as much as I do. It's a great pleasure to visit libraries and bookshops and reading groups, to talk about my books.
If you see me out and about - do drop by and say hello. You don't even have to buy a book (although if you do - it would be my very great pleasure to sign it for you).
If you'd like me to talk to your group, or at your event, just e-mail me.

Past Events
February is always a busy month for those of a romantic bent.
The girls from Lets Talk About Love were out and about in the month of Romance - at Waterstone's Book in Windsor and Castlenau Library in West London. In honour of Valentine's Day - there were chocolate and flowers. Thanks to everyone who came to share those events with us.
The month ended with a guest blog for Petticoats and Pistols. This is a site run by a group of American historical authors. That means westerns - and a girl brought up in the Aussie bush feels right at home with cowboys. Thanks Gals for the invite.
On Thursday 3 December I was at Yateley Library in Hampshire talking about how my unusual childhood in the Australian bush helped me become a writer.
A cold wet night in November couldn't deter me from heading to East London, for a Lets Talks About Love event with my friends Jean Fullerton and Juliet Archer. It was a special occasion for both Jean and I, as we were both launching our new books. Thanks to staff at Waterstone's in Romford and all the shoppers who made the evening a delight. After the event, we left some writers' tips on our blog, if you'd like to take a look.
Lets Talk About Love took over the top floor of Waterstone's in Uxbridge on October 10th. With four romantic novelists in attendance, the discussion was lively. Many of those attending were writers themselves, and discussion focussed on how to plot, what makes a good hero and the different styles of book we write. Although we've talked about books many times before, these events always bring new questions and discussions that are as interesting to us as they are (we hope) to the audience.
Thanks everyone for a lovely afternoon.
In July, as Part of the Romantic Novelists' Association Conference, I joined some fellow authors for a talk at Penrith Library. The sessions lasted all day and it was all such fun that a library user (male) was heard to mutter something about 'those terribly noisy women'. He should have come and joined in.
You can see more photos on my blog. Thanks everyone at Penrith for making us so welcome.
